पिछले कुछ दिनों से बहुजन आज़ाद पार्टी काफी चर्चा में है. ऐसा कहा जा रहा है कि IIT से पढाई कर चुके पचास लोगों ने अपनी नौकरी छोड़कर ये पार्टी बनाई है अपनी पार्टी के ज़रिए ये लोग दलितों की समस्या का समाधान करना चाहते हैं और बिहार का अगला विधानसभा चुनाव लड़ना चाहते हैं.
