2015 में दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय में पढ़ने वाले कुछ विद्यार्थियों ने निशुल्क शिक्षा देने के सफर की शुरुआत गीता कॉलोनी की झुग्गियों में रहने वाले 15 बच्चों से की थी।
